Worship

Worship

Join us every Sunday morning at 8:15 and 10am.

Do you speak Urdu? Join us for worship on Sundays at 7:30pm.

He loves us and we love him.
The JOY of worship begins in knowing that our LORD uses the worship service to love and bless us – to guide and encourage us; to challenge and forgive us; to heal and nourish us.

The JOY is increased as we love and bless Him in return – through our singing and celebration; our prayers and thanksgiving; and our sharing His love with and blessing each other and the world around us.

All are always welcome – on location or online!

What to expect?
WORD-SACRAMENT-MUSIC

WORD

So faith comes from hearing, and hearing through the word of Christ. Romans 10:17

The first half of the worship service focuses on the WORD, with several readings from Scripture followed by a message based on these readings.

SACRAMENT – Holy Communion

Jesus said to them, “I am the bread of life; whoever comes to me shall not hunger, and whoever believes in me shall never thirst.”  John 6:35

In the last half of worship, the focus turns to celebrating and partaking of the Lord’s Supper – where we receive the presence of Jesus through His body and His blood in the bread and wine of holy communion.

SACRAMENT – Holy Baptism

And Jesus came and said to them, “All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me. Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all that I have commanded you. And behold, I am with you always, to the end of the age.”  Matthew 28:18-20

Throughout the year, baptisms take place as part of the worship service as people are born anew into the body of Christ.

MUSIC

Oh come, let us sing to the Lord; let us make a joyful noise to the rock of our salvation. Psalm 95:1

Throughout worship we lift up our voices to the Lord – in liturgy and hymns and through our various choirs and instrumentalists.
